Finally, a note on strategy.

Strategy is about deeply understanding who you’re selling to and how they make decisions – then putting this at the center of all you do.

It’s about knowing what market you’re competing in and understanding the dynamics of that market.

It’s about knowing what you’re not going to do.

It’s about being steadfast in your focus

At least that’s part of it. All our projects start with strategy whether or not you ask for it. Strategy won’t slow you down or bump up the price tag. But it will make the work really good.

Our favorite strategist is Michael Porter. One of the best books we’ve read is “Understanding Michael Porter”, by Joan Magretta.
